Obituary of Helen Ann (Knee) Parizack

PARIZACK – Helen Ann “Tootsie” (Knee), 75, of Portage, passed away December 18, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center.  She was born September 12, 1946 in Allegheny Twp., daughter of the late Harrison “Randy” and Mary (Crynock) Knee.  Preceded in death by husband Charles R. Parizack, Jr., to whom she shared 25 years. Survived by children:  Pam Moyer, Portage; Scott Parizack, Salix; Lane (Betsy) Parizack, Onnalinda, Pa.; Dawn Harris, Illinios; Georgia (John) Burkhardt, Ebensburg; and Helen (Brent) Stormer, of Colver.  Also 15 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild, all of whom Helen adored.  Also survived by sisters: Marylou Pendergast and Bonnie Zontz, both of Gallitzin.  Tootsie was an avid Elvis Presley fanatic, long known for her love of Elvis, her leopard prints and her boundless collection of throw rugs.  She loved the Steelers and will be remembered for her love of the holidays.  She treated anyone she met with kindness, love and like family.  She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.  At her request, there will be no viewing.  Friends may gather from 6:00 p.m. until the time of Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg.
