WRIGHT – Verna M. (Fogle), 74, of Ebensburg, passed away January 11, 2022 at home.  Born January 27, 1947 in Chest Springs, daughter of the late Vincent and Elsie (Burke) Fogle.  Preceded in death by husband William W. Wright, who passed in 2019, great-grandson Xander, and brothers: Merrill, Jim, Charles, John “Jack”, Earl and and infant brother Leonard.  Survived by children:  Angela (Joseph) Powers-Reid, Baker, W. VA; Harvey T. Powers Jr. (Susan), Virginia; Tammy Whit and Billy Whit, both of Florida and Amy (David) Humphrey, Mentor, Ohio;  eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  Also survived by sister Janet (Michael) O’Hara, Ebensburg and numerous nieces and nephews.  Verna left her home in Chest Springs very young and had lived in Virginia and Florida, moving back home upon the passing of her husband.  She enjoyed country music, shopping, and her video poker game machine.  She will be missed by her loving family.  Friends will be received from 2:00 p.m. until the time of Memorial Service at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 27th, at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, Pastor David O’Hara, officiating.
