My earliest childhood memories are those spent at Aunt Jay and Uncle Skip's house. Those summer visits were filled with lots of fun, laughter and Aunt Jay's delicious food. You were always welcome, no matter the day or time. Aunt Jay was always like a Mom to me, but even more so after losing my Mom. She was always there for my happiest of times and there during my darkest times. I will miss her smile, her laughter, her wisdom. I will not say good bye because she will always live on in my heart. Say Hi to mom for me Aunt Jay. I will Love you forever.....till we meet again.

Julia (Bubba) I am so grateful to have known you & to have such a beautiful soul in my life. We all love you so much & will miss you even more. Thank you for always taking the time to write to me when I was overseas & away from home. You brought so much light into this world & you will be forever missed. ❤️ I know you will be greeted at the gates of heaven by so many & will undoubtedly continue to watch over all of your loved ones.

I was definately blessed to have had Julia touch my life. A year ago I was asked by her daughter if I could help the family with her care, little did I know how much she and her famly would touch my heart. I recieved so much thoughtfulness and caring not only from Julia but from her entire family. Julia's forged foward on her path of relenrless endurance, no one would have thought her of 99 years. .She had the ability to recognize a blessing and delighted in the beauty of a moment, even if that moment was a red lollipop! . She told me once there are no short cuts to any place worth going. Julia did not take any short cuts and endured a life of ups and downs. joy and saddness. I know to whom she resides. Our lord Jesus!
