MASH – Elizabeth J. “Betty”,86, of Vintondale, went to be with her Lord and Savior Feb. 17, 2022 . Born Sept. 15, 1935 in Nanty Glo, daughter of the late Michael and Anna Kimack. Preceded in death by brothers, John, Michael, James and William; and sister, Nancy DaSilva. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family. Survived by husband of 65 years, Mello Mash; and children, Sandra (Patrick) Shillow; Lynn (Joseph) Gaffney; Samuel (Christine) Mash; Rev. Wesley M. Mash; Glenn (Phyllis) Mash; James (Heather) Mash; and Melanie Seyler. 7 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. Member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Nanty Glo. Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandma and great grannie. She loved singing in the choir, bird watching, and cooking for her family.  Friends will be received from 4-7 p.m. on Monday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo.  Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Mary’s Church, the Rev. Leonard Voytek and Rev. Wesley Mash. Committal, St. Charles Cemetery, Twin Rocks. Condolences may be left for the family at: www.askew-houser.com.
