Obituary of Ronald Rozsi, Sr.

ROZSI – Ronald, Sr., 70, of Nanty Glo, passed away Feb. 17, 2022. Born Oct. 31, 1951 in Johnstown. Preceded in death by father, Andrew Rozsi; mother and step father, Emma (McKeel) and Ernest McGowan; wife, Beverly Lee "Bev"; grandson, Ethan Snyder; sisters, Patty Ann and Betty; and brothers, Don “Ludgie” and Herb “Jags”. Survived by sons, Ronald, Jr. (Missi); Phillip (EmmyLee); and Patrick (Courtney); as well as his loyal companion, Macho. Grandchildren, Nathan, Kaitlyn and Braxton; 6 step grandchildren and 10 step great grandchildren. Also survived by sister, Mary Jane (Ken) Carney; and brother, Joseph (Lisa) McCullough. Member of First Baptist Church of Nanty Glo. Retired from the former Laurel Crest Manor with 33 ½ years of service. Co-owner of the former Mundys Corner Restaurant. Ron enjoyed bingo, auctions, catering and camping. Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Pastor Geno Bartoletti, officiating.
