Obituary of Mary Jo (Wentz) Lowmaster

LOWMASTER - Mary Jo (Wentz) Lowmaster, 60, of Carrolltown, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, March 15, 2022 at home, surrounded by her loving family.  Born December 11, 1961 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Joseph Earl and Mary Margaret (Kelly) Wentz.  Survived by her loving companion John Walker, Northern Cambria;  son, Timothy (Claire) Lowmaster, Ebensburg; daughter Tiffany Lowmaster, Patton; and grandchildren:  Ethan, Grace, Savannah and Tucker.  Also survived by brothers and sister:  David Earl Wentz, Vinco;  Susan Elaine (Jack) Horner, Arizona;  Duane (Rhonda) Wentz, Revloc; and William Wentz, Ebensburg.  Mary Jo was a longtime employee of the Ebensburg Center (State School) where she worked in the housekeeping department.  She enjoyed travel to casinos,  spending time with her children and she lived for her grandchildren.  At her request there will be no viewing.  Private Services at the convenience of the family, with interment at Lloyd Cemetery, Ebensburg.  Arrangements are in the care of the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg.  Condolences for the family may be left at www.askew-houser.com.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary Jo's memory may be made to the Ebensburg Center Resident Activities Fund.
