LANKFORD – Kathy Lynn, 62, of Ebensburg, passed away April 19, 2022 at Cambria Care Center.  Born November 23rd, 1959 in Colver, daughter of the late James T. and Thelma (Smith) Lankford.  Preceded in death by her fiancé,  William Thomas.  Survived by brother and sisters:  Donna Fulton, Columbia SC.; Jeanne (Daniel) Croyle, Gray Court, SC.; Barbara (Daniel) Goughnour, Dallastown, PA.; and James R. (Lynda) Lankford, Portage, IN.  Also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.  A lifelong member of Holy Name Roman Catholic Church.  A graduate of Central Cambria High School, Class of 1979.  Kathy was employed as a waitress for many years at the former Candlelight Restaurant in Ebensburg, and then the Keystone Restaurant in Munster Twp.  Though her disability in her later life limited her, she enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.  A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 29th, at Holy Name Church, Rev. Brian Warchola, celebrant.  Interment at Holy Name Cemetery.   In lieu of flowers, donations in Kathy’s memory may be made to Parkinson’s Foundation (www.parkinsons.org)  Arrangements are in the care of the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg.  Condolences to the family may be left at (www.askew-houser.com)
