Obituary of Nancy J. Long

LONG – Nancy J., 81, of Ebensburg, passed away May 1, 2022. Born April 4, 1941 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Hubert and Zelda (Briggs) Holland. Preceded in death by husband, Thomas; an infant son; son, Darrin; son in law, Michael McGinnis; granddaughter, Shaina; and sister, Diana McKinley. Last surviving member of her immediate family. Survived by children, Jeffrey (Patricia) Long; Craig (Karen) Long; and Denise McGinnis. Grandchildren, Justin E. (fiance, Zoey Campbell) McGinnis; Kaitlyn A. (fiance, Randall Taylor) McGinnis; Tyler and Sean Wisniewski; Michael and Christopher Long; Alan and Anastasia Long. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Member of Ebensburg Lakeside Community Church of the Nazarene. Member of Nanty Glo Senior Center. Nancy enjoyed collecting hummingbirds. She loved her family and friends and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.  Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Pastor Rob Osborn, officiating.
