Obituary of Joan Marie Voyda

VOYDA – Joan Marie (Smith), 78, of Ebensburg, passed away May 15, 2022 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.  Born February 27, 1944, in Nanty Glo, daughter of the late Stephen J. and Anna (Buschko) Smith.  Preceded in death by sisters, Mary Ann Smith and Kathleen Demchak.  Survived by children:  Stephanie Voyda; Jason (Sherri Rekich) Voyda;  Jeffrey (Kristie) Voyda; and Megan (Michael) Polinsky.  Loving grandmother to Logan, Jackson, Max, and Maggie Voyda, and Sadie Polinsky.  Sister of Veronica Dick; John Smith; Carole (Rowland) Tibbott; and Michael (Helen) Smith.  Joan enjoyed Slingo, watching Jimmy Fallon, traveling to casinos, and spending time with her grandchildren. Friends will be received from 12:00 p.m. Friday, at Holy Name Church Narthex until the time of Funeral Mass at 1:00 p.m., Rev. Fr.
