Obituary of Eva Mae Smith

SMITH – Eva Mae, 80, of Vintondale, went to be with the Lord June 1, 2022 at home. Born October 31, 1941 in Belsano, daughter of the late Allen, Sr. and Marie Bishop. Preceded in death by husband, Bernard C. Smith, Sr.; infant daughter, Annamarie Smith; infant brother, Robert; brother, Allen Bishop, Jr.; sisters, Shirley Smith and Matilda Findley; and son in law, Michel Gresko. Survived by children, Theresa (William) Roberts; Sandra Gresko; Bernard Smith, Jr.; and Sherry (David) Roberts. 9 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren. Sister of Darlene Anderson; Donald (Karen) Bishop; Gary, Sr. (Cindy) Bishop; Beverly (Andrew) Chekan; Connie (David) Frantz; and Russell (Claudine) Bishop; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Member of Faith United Methodist Church, Belsano. Retired from the former Laurel Crest Manor.  Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Pastor Josh Burbank, officiating.
