Obituary of Mary Jane Carney

CARNEY – Mary Jane (Rozsi), 74, of Nanty Glo passed away June 17^th, 2022. Born May 30, 1948, daughter of the late Andrew and Emma (McKeel) Rozsi. Preceeded in death by sisters, Patty Ann and Betty, and brothers, Don “Ludgie”, Herb “Jags”,  and Ronald. Survived by husband, Kenneth Carney, Sr.; children Kenneth Jr. (Stephanie) Carney; Dawn (Terry) Morris; Tammy (Jason) Carney; and grandchildren Dustin (Brandon), Kenneth III (Kayla), Kennedy (Zach) and Zachary (Phoebe); as well as brother,  Joseph (Lisa) McCullough.  Mary enjoyed bingo, her dog "BamBam" and talking on the phone with special friends Phyllis, David, and Lucas. She loved her grandchildren very much and considered them to be her world.   Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Friday, June 24th at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, Pastor Geno Bartoletti, celebrant.
