CASPER – Michael J., 65, of Nanty Glo, passed away June 30, 2022. Born August 22, 1956 in Johnstown, son of the late Theodore and Dorothy Casper. Preceded in death by sister, Patricia. Survived by brothers, Charles Casper and Joseph (Karen) Casper; and sisters, JoAnn (Larry) Hoskins  and Natalie Hamaty. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.  A beloved son, brother and uncle, Michael enjoyed the outdoors and lived life to the fullest! He will be sadly missed by all of his family.  Friends will be received from 9:30a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, followed by Funeral Mass at noon at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Nanty Glo, the Rev. Leonard Voytek, celebrant. Committal to follow at Holy Name Mausoleum, Ebensburg. Contributions may be made to the family for a bench to be placed along the Ghost Town Trail in Michaels’ memory.
