PERCE - Joan Marie (Bisko), 83, of Bedford, PA, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.  Born October 23, 1938, in Colver, PA. , daughter of the late John and Catherine (Yendzik) Bisko.  Preceded in death by sister, Carol Bisko Rock and brother, Johnny Bisko.   Survived by husband of 30 years, Legrand W. Perce III; and sister, Phyllis (Robert) Dahneke.   Also survived by children: Michele (Thad) Taylor, David (Peggie) Link, Karen (Michael) Zabrzeski, and Douglas (Shelly) Link;  loving grandchildren: Hanna and Zachary Taylor,  Samantha (Matthew) Kemock, Danielle (Justin) Griswold, Kayla (Cliff) Eckenrode, Elyse (Andrew) McConnell, Michael Zabrzeski, Jacob (Krista) Zabrzeski, Emily Zabrzeski and fiancé Jeremy Kost, Isabella Zabrzeski, Dylan (Maria) Link, and Courtney (Derek) Cesarz; as well as 9 great-grandsons.   

Joan was a member of St. Thomas Roman Catholic Church in Bedford, where she enjoyed participating in her women’s bible study group.  Joan was the executive director of the Southern Alleghenies American Lung Associations.  She enjoyed creating quilting, painting, and sewing projects for her family.  She also enjoyed extensive traveling with her husband. At her request there will be no visitation. A gathering of friends and family will be held at Holy Name Roman Catholic Church Narthex, Ebensburg from 10:00 am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am,  Thursday, September 8th,  Rev. Fr. Brian Warcola, celebrant.  Interment at Holy Name Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joan’s memory may be made to St. Thomas Catholic Church, 215 E.
