Obituary of Stephen Simasek
SIMASEK – Stephen, 57, of Nanty Glo, passed away on September 8, 2022. Born August 17, 1965 in Johnstown, son of the late Rita (Jovan) Simasek. Survived by wife of 33 years, Lisa (Swartz) Simasek; children: Ashley (Zachary Shuhayda) Simasek; Stephen (Olivia Vanderlin) Simasek; Kimberly (Danielle) Simasek, Jonathan, and Seth Simasek; and grandchildren: Silas, Owen, Gabriel, Everett, Callie, and Amelia. Also survived by sisters: Michelle Jovan, Pam Hritz, Dee Dee Bowers, Cindy Chamer and their families.
Steve was a loving husband, father, brother, and son. He was all about his family; his children were his greatest pride, and his grandchildren were his biggest joy. Steve loved nothing more than having his family together, especially when he could treat them on the Simasek annual beach trip.
