Obituary of Ethel L. Headrick

HEADRICK – Ethel L. (Houck), 93, of Colver, passed away peacefully September 13, 2022 at Miner’s Medical Center, Hastings.  Born May 26, 1926 near Rochester Mills, Indiana County, daughter of the late Howard “Eugene” and Thelma E. (Gaston) Houck.  Preceded in death by husband, George D. Headrick and infant son James.  Survived by sons:  Gregory E., married to Dorothy R. Aiken, Colver, Pa. and David A. married to Michele Shea, Penn Hills, Pa.  Also grandchildren: Amy Beth Hurst, Melanie R. Johnson, Bryan G. Headrick and Joel D. Headrick;   great-grandchildren: Palin Hurst, Lochlan Hurst and Keyla Johnson.   Ethel was a lifelong member of the Colver Presbyterian Church.  A gracious host and a loving mother and grandmother.  The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the staff at St. Benedict Manor for their compassionate and kind care for Ethel.  At her request there will be no viewing.  Private Funeral Services at the convenience of the family.  Interment at Lloyd Cemetery, Ebensburg.  Arrangements are in the care of the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg.
