Obituary of Betty Catherine Little

LITTLE – Betty Catherine, 73, of Mineral Point, went to be with the Lord on September 16, 2022, surrounded by her daughter and family, to be reunited with her loving husband, Roy. Born January 14, 1949 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Melvin, Sr. and Ethel (Toth) Buck. Preceded in death by husband, Roy Lee Little, Sr. and brother, Melvin Buck, Jr. Survived by children, Roy Little, Jr. and Michelle (Donald) Yeager. Grandson, Owen Yeager; sisters, Linda (Steve) Kasecky; and Melvina Nicklow (brother in law, Emerson); brother, Thomas (Colleen) Buck; and numerous nieces and nephews. Loyal member of Nanty Glo United Methodist Church. Retired from the former Laurel Crest Manor, Ebensburg. Loving wife, mother and Mimi, to her little sunshine, Owen. She was very devoted to her family, whom she loved with all her heart and soul. Friends will be received from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, and from 10:30 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Nanty Glo United Methodist Church, the Rev. Bill Warrick, officiating. Interment to follow at Pineland Cemetery, Strongstown. In lieu of flowers, donations in Betty's memory may be made to Nanty Glo United Methodist Church.
