YODER- Donald E., “Butch”, 68, of Hollidaysburg, formerly of Johnstown, went to be with the Lord on Oct. 27, 2022 at Hollidaysburg Veterans Home. Born Nov. 25, 1953 in Johnstown, son of the late Donald A. and Laura I. (Corson) Yoder. Preceded in death by wife, Rachelle; and brother, John C. Yoder. Survived by daughters, Cherith Yoder and Gracee (Jeff) Willis; 5 grandchildren; brother, James (Nancy) Yoder; sister, Cheryl Bowers; 3 nephews and a niece. Butch served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era, worked for a time in the coal mines, drove tractor trailer for several years and had a strong faith in the Lord. He attended Nanty Glo C. & M.A. Church. Butch loved being with his family and friends and will be sadly missed. A gathering will be held from 4:30 p.m. followed by funeral service at 5:30 p.m. on Monday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, Pastor Russ Havener, officiating. Interment, Headricks Union Cemetery. Military Rite by Blacklick Valley Ritual Team. Condolences may be left for the family at www.askew-houser.com
