Obituary of Deborah J. Hughes

HUGHES – Deborah J., 72, of Indiana, formerly of  Ebensburg, passed away Nov. 13, 2022 at St. Andrew’s Village, Indiana.  Born October 15, 1950 in Colver, daughter of the late Samuel and Vivian (Rankin) Hughes. Preceded in death by brothers, Fred, Don and Dennis Hughes. Survived by daughter, Tammy (Frank) McGuire; 2 Grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Also survived by sister, Darlene (Kenneth) Gailey; brother, Douglas (Danette) Hughes; 5 nieces and 1 nephew.  Debbie loved spending time with her family. Cooking, gardening, sewing and music were her passions. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Debbie loved her for her kind and caring heart. A gathering of family and friends will be received from 5 p.m. until time of memorial service at 6 p.m. on Thursday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, Pastor John Snyder, officiating.
