Obituary of Mary Sue Lipps

LIPPS – Mary Sue “Suzie”, 84, of Ebensburg, passed away November 24, 2022 at home. Born December 26, 1937 in Ebensburg, daughter of the late John and Rita (Luther) Pryce. Preceded in death by husband, Harold L. Lipps; daughter, JoAnn Lipps, and brothers, David N. Pryce, John Robert “Butch” Pryce. Survived by children, Robert A. “Bobby” (Lorrie) Lipps of Duluth, GA, and Patricia J. “Patti” (Mark) Myers of Union Bridge, MD., also survived by sister Cathy A. (Douglas) Burdette, Millsboro, DE. And grandchildren Megan (Cody) Barnes, Erin Lipps, Justin (Brianna) Myers, Jack Myers, Olivia Myers, as well as great grandsons, Mason Leo Barnes, and Cannon Duke Myers, and numerous nieces and nephews.  Suzie had been a member of the Ebensburg United Church of Christ, where she had played the bells, and had retired from U.S. Bank. 

Friends will be received from 4-7 p.m., Sunday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg.  Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday at the Ebensburg United Church of Christ, Mr. Andrew Jones, lay minister, officiating.  Interment at Lloyd Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Suzie’s memory may be made to the Ebensburg United Church of Christ, 217 E. High Street, Ebensburg, Pa. 15931.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.askew-houser.com
