SHOEMAKER – Margaret Louella “Betts”, 97 of Mundys Corner, joined the Saints of Heaven on Dec. 23, 2022. Born July 1, 1925 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Henry and Ellen (Brendle) Vorhauer. Preceded in death by husband, Alvin; brothers, John and George; sisters, Jeannette Vorhauer and Eleanor Bombach; and daughter in law, Courtney Shoemaker. Survived by children, David A. (Theresa); Linda (Jim) Kuzminsky; John M. (Deborah); Richard L. (Susan); and Michael D. Shoemaker. 14 Grandchildren. 15 Great Grandchildren. Also survived by sister, Kathryn G. Deetscreek. Member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mundys Corner, where memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Pastor Kevin McNamara, officiating.
