BUZMINSKY – Michael “Buzzy”, 88, of Colver,  passed away January 19, 2023. Born  June 16, 1934 in Colver, son of the late  Andrew and Anna Buzminsky. Preceded in death by daughters, Kathleen Wilson, Sharlene Makosy and Connie Boback; brother, Steve, an infant brother, John; and  sister, Mary. Survived by wife of  68 years, the former Esther Dixon  and children, Michael (Vickie) Buzminsky; Mark (Cynthia) Buzminsky; and Denine (Don) Pritchett. Grandchildren, Troy, Carrie Ann, Christin, Eric, Amy, Chad, Heather, Matthew, Kara, Daniel, Doug, Josh and Faith. 14 Great Grandchildren. Also survived by sisters, Elizabeth and Catherine; and several nieces and nephews. Michael was a lifelong carpenter, owning  and operating his own construction and remodeling business. He also enjoyed playing the accordian with his band,  “We Three”.  Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Pastor Vickie Buzminsky, (Michael’s daughter in law) officiating. Interment, Lloyd Cemetery, Ebensburg. In lieu of flowers, donations in Michael’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
