SPRINGER – Robert Earl, 92, of Ebensburg, passed away peacefully at home January 30, 2023. Born April 30, 1930, son of the late Amandus and Josephine (Kirsch) Springer.  Proceeded in death by daughter, Kathleen Springer, as well as several siblings.  Survived by wife of 68 years, Barbara; children: Thomas (Marsha), Paula (William) Turner, Gregory, Michael (Dawn), and Mary Jo (Michael) Shero; grandchildren: Robert (Martina) Springer, Melissa (Alby) Lamonaca, Travis (Mariza) Turner, Megan Turner (Travis Bobik), Ryan (Jordan) Turner, Jaclyn Springer (Steve Lampel), Amanda Springer (Luke Golden), and Nicole Shero (Tyler Yoder); and 11 great-grandchildren.  Also survived by sister, Jean Springer.  Bob worked for the Cambria and Indiana Railroad until his retirement in 1990.  He served in the Army during the Korean War. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Interment at Holy Name Cemetery.  Donations in Bob’s memory may be made to the Young Peoples Community Center, 300 Prave Street, Ebensburg, Pa 15931.  Arrangements are in the care of Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Ebensburg.
