DOW – Therese L., 71 of Ebensburg, passed away June 15, 2023 as a result of an automobile accident.  Born May 5, 1952 in Colver Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Richard and Vera Smithbauer.  She is preceded in death by her husband Richard J Dow, son, David A. Dow; brother, Firmand Smithbauer. Survived by her children, Daughter, Vanessa A. (Gary) Bailey, Grandchildren, Elisabeth, Isaac, and Owen Bailey; Daughter, Amanda M. (James) Robinson, Grandchildren Alexzander, Richard, and Gabriel Robinson;  and Son, Justin E. (Sandra) Dow, Grandchildren, Vanessa Landram, Hunter and Chase Dow; and Grandchildren (David A. Dow’s children) Karissa (Andrew) Arnold; Mason (Abby) Dow; and great granddaughter, Nora Dow. Survived by sister Nancy (Ron) Sybert, sister Jane (Denny) Bowser, sister Mona (Rick) Schilling, brother Tony (Nancy) Smithbauer and brother Bob (Dee) Smithbauer and sister-in-law Jean (Firmand) Smithbauer.   Therese was a member of  Holy Name Roman Catholic Church. She was an advid reader and loved going to the beach. After retiring from Laurel Crest in 2003, she would often travel and spend time with her grandchildren. Private services were held for her on June 17th with family and close friends in attendance.
