Obituary of Damian Mock

MOCK – Damian, 49, of Cresson, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family and friends on July 29, 2023. Born September 28, 1973 in Spangler, son of John “Roy” and Margaret (Leone) Mock. Preceded in death by twin sons: Nathan Joseph and Kyle Anthony, and by father.  Survived by wife, the former Lisa M. Grata, to whom he was married 28 years; children: Joshua (partner, Amanda Mandichak), Portage, Pa.;  Zachary and wife Kayla Karabinos, and Mikayla, all of Cresson. Also survived six grandchildren: Jaxson, Alexandria, Kaydynce, Olivia, Layla, and Colt, as well mother, Margaret "Peg", brother, Darren (Jennifer); sister, Dawn (Carrie) White; and several beloved nieces and nephews. A special thank you to his dear friends who were near to his heart. Before retiring, Damian worked for SCI Benner Township as an LPN.  He was a member and leader of AFSCME local 3564. Friends will be received from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Wednesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg.  Donations in Damian’s memory may be made to his family.
