Obituary of Theodore Pisula

PISULA – Theodore “Ted” 74, of Ebensburg, passed away August 11, 2023 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.  Born June 24, 1949 in Emigh, son of the late Lawrence and Theresa (Repik) Pisula.  Preceded in death by wife of eight years, Jane C. (Springer) Kmett-Pisula and an infant sister.  Survived by step-son, Edward (Linda) Kmett, Jr., step-grandchildren: Alexia, Kayla, and Erich; all of California; Sisters Mary Stitt, Ohio and Virginia (Alan) Grybosky, Emigh; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  Ted was retired from the Barnes & Tucker Mines with 19 years of service and Penn Metals Fabrication.  A member of UMWA and Holy Name Roman Catholic Church.  Ted was a member and past president of the Ebensburg Lions Club.  A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday (Aug 17th) at Holy Name Church, the Rev. Brian Warchola, celebrant.  Interment at Holy Name Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Ted’s memory may be made to the Cambria County Association of the Blind or to the Lions Club charities.  Condolences to the family may be left at askew-houser.com
