Kaylan A Coble, 40, of Athens, Alabama and formerly of Cherry Tree, PA went to be with the Lord on August 8, 2023, after a short illness. Born December 9, 1982, in Miner’s Hospital, Spangler, PA to Melissa A. Coble of Cherry Tree, PA. Kaylan was a 2001 graduate of Harmony Area School District and attended Slippery Rock University and recently attended Athens State University.
Kaylan is survived by mother and stepfather, James & Melissa Shomo of Fallentimber, PA; daughters, Kaitlyn Coble and Natalie Coble of Athens, AL; grandmother, Jean Coble, Patton, PA; grandfather, Don Coble, Penn Run, PA; aunt, Melanie Coble of Athens, AL whom he resided with for 18 years; uncle, Mark Coble, Madison, AL; and aunt, Michelle Hazlett of Cherry Tree, PA; stepsiblings, Ben Hamilton and family of Coalport, PA, Rebecca Cusick and family of Coalport, Brock Shomo of Fallentimber, PA, and Shane Shomo serving in the Army; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins, including special cousin, Kerri Coble of Cherry Tree PA; puppy, Tilly; and his Olive Garden Family.
Anyone who knew Kaylan knew his favorite things in life were spending time with his girls, basketball, dirt track races, Havoc Hockey games, the mountains, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler Fan.
Per Kaylan’s wishes, a Steeler themed Celebration of Life will be held at the Burnside Fire Hall, September 2nd, at 2pm. Interment at Harmony Cemetery to be held at the convenience of the family.
