SLIPPY – Ruth, 91, of Mundys Corner, went home to be with her Lord on Oct. 27, 2023 at home. Born June 27, 1932 in Swissvale, daughter of the late John and Elsie Benedict.  Last surviving member of her immediate family. Preceded in death by husband, Alfred “Slip” and    siblings, Jean, James, Frances, Agnes and Robert. Survived by daughters, Sandra (Ben) Brown and Sharon Farabaugh. Grandchildren, Frank Brown, Jessie (Robert) Brown-Feliciano, Corey Rickens, C.J.,  Jordan and Trevor Farabaugh. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Life member of Pike Grace Brethren Church, Mundys Corner. Ruth enjoyed watching Radiant, listening to Cornerstone TV; and doing word search puzzles. Private services are in care of the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo. A Celebration of the Life of Ruth Slippy will be planned at a later date for her family and friends.
