VERBA – Christine, 109, of Vintondale, died on March 24, 2024 at home, surrounded by her family. Born Oct. 23, 1914 in Vintondale, daughter of the late Michael and Anna Risko. Survived by grandsons, C. Paul (Marciana) Verba and Mario (Rhonda) Ugoletti; daughter in law, Berena F. Verba; niece, Christine L. Gregor; nephew, Warner (Debra) Barate; and many members of a large extended family. Current member of St. Benedict Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Christine was a known Bible teacher from her youth and positively affected many lives. She was very social and enjoyed conversations with all. Christine was an excellent homemaker and also enjoyed gardening.  A memorial service will be held at a later date at St. Benedict Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
