Obituary of Robert Andrew Klezek

KLEZEK – Robert Andrew “Drew”, 34 of Twin Rocks, passed away July 25, 2024.  Born November 27, 1989 in Memphis, TN., son of Robert Klezek and Janet Lanzendorfer.  Preceded in death by father, Robert; maternal grandparents Robert and Agnes Lanzendorfer; and paternal grandparents Edward and Helen Klezek.  Survived by his mother,  Janet Lanzendorfer; Drew’s longtime companion Jessica Bobroski, and her daughters Sara and Samantha; as well as numerous cousins and friends.  Drew was employed as Director of Public Works for Ford City, Pa.  He enjoyed and had a vast knowledge of music, having served as a disc jockey in his early years.  An avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirate fan, he also enjoyed his Fantasy Football Leagues. He prided himself in being the reigning “Boss Hog” from the last Nanty Glo Pork & Pull. Drew had a heart of gold, was a hard worker, a true companion to Jessica and a loving father figure to Jess’s girls.              

Friends will be received from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, followed by a brief eulogy service.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Drew’s family.  Arrangements are in the care of the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, condolences to the family may be left at www.askew-houser.com
