Alton E. "Rusty" Horn Obituary

HORN – Alton E. “Rusty”, 66, passed away peacefully Monday, Oct. 7, 2024, at his residence in Cresson, with his girlfriend Nancy Shultz by his side. He was the son of the late Olive and Alton Horn. Preceded in death by brothers, Richard and Allen Horn; and sisters, Deborah Morris and Jill Dixon.  In addition to his girlfriend, Nancy, he is survived son, Joshua; daughter, Brittney Weaver; grandchildren, Cailyn, Landon, Silas, Conner and Cameron; sister, Lynn (Dale) Bailey; brother, Jeff (Michele) Horn; and many nieces and nephews. Rusty was a truck driver all his life, which he loved; and played in local bands in his younger days. He will be truly missed by all. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. on Friday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, the Rev. Bill Warrick, officiating. Interment, UB Cemetery, Belsano. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Rusty’s memory. Condolences may be left for the family at www.askew-houser.com
