EVANS – Denise Marie, 72, of Ebensburg, passed away Oct. 11, 2024 at home. Born Aug. 17, 1952 in Colver, daughter of the late Peter and Helen (Legdon) Datsko. Survived by husband, George T. “Tom” Evans, to whom she was married for 53 years; and sons, Chad (Cristian) Evans; and Matthew D. Evans. Grandchildren, Hayley, Linsey and Alexander; brothers, Gary (Eileen) Datsko; and Rickie (Susan) Datsko; and sister, Kathy (Kelly) Crew.  Also survived by nephews and nieces, Bryan, Amanda, Krysten and Korey; and dear family friends, Margaret and Joe Stephan. Denise had served as an executive assistant. She retired in 2014. Graduate of Holy Name School and Central Cambria High School. Member of Ebensburg Methodist Church. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday evening at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg and from 10 a.m. until time of memorial service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the Ebensburg Methodist Church, Pastor Ashley Weyant, officiating. Interment, Lloyd Cemetery, Ebensburg. Condolences may be left for the family at www.askew-houser.com
