Obituary of Lee Daniel Wess

WESS - Lee Daniel, 36, of Windber and a native of Ebensburg passed away on Thursday October 31, 2024 at Conemaugh Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born on January 27, 1988 in Johnstown, the son of Jesse R. and Twila (Williams) Wess.   Preceded in death by mother, Twila; and maternal grandparents Loretta (Christoff) and Jay Williams,  Survived by father, Jesse R. (Jeanne) Wess;  wife Chelsea (Green) Wess and children Malcolm, Colter, and Quinn Twila.  Brother of Jay (Carly) Wess and Kevin (Kimberly) Wess, nephews  and niece: Peyton, Kensington and Beau Wess;  stepbrother Jeremy (Meicah) Robinson and stepsister Caitlin (Chad) Weaver, father-in-law Richard "Rick" Green and brother-in-law Ricky (MacKenzie) Green, nephews and niece: Ricky V, Theodore, and Evelyn.  Lee was a Journeyman/Lineman for the Lineman Union Local 126.

Lee was full of life and lived every moment to the fullest. He loved his family and his wife, Chelsea.  Lee enjoyed hunting, fishing, and music. He had a love of motorcycles, marveled at nature, enjoyed seeing the wild and spotting the occasional bald eagle from his vantage point as a lineman.   Chelsea expressed "Our love was different, We were truly Soul Mates;  He was the best friend, husband, dad, brother and son!"

A private service will be held at the convience of the family, that service officated by Fr. Brian Warchola.  A public "Celebration of Lee's Life" will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be direct to ALS Association (als.org).   Condolences to Lee's family may be made left at www.askew-houser.com
