MORRIS - Daniel, 61, a resident of The Meadows, Patton and formerly of Carrolltown, passed away December 8, 2024 at Maple Heights Health & Rehabilitation Center, Ebensburg.   Born February 2, 1963 in Spangler, the son of Merton and Odessa (Hertzog) Morris.  He is preceded in death by his father, brothers Henry Morris and Don Alt and nephews: Nathan J. "Nate" and Michael Morris. 

Survived by mother, Odessa Morris of Hastings,  brothers:   Larry, Roger, Wayne, Eugene, Dave, and Ron Morris as well as  numerous nieces and nephews.  Dan was a social member of Carrolltown American Legion.  Disabled, Dan had been employed on and off as his health allowed, but he enjoyed being a "homebody" enjoying his time with his dog "Jenny".  

Friends will be received from 5:00 p.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, December 12th at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg.  Interment at Lloyd Cemetery.   Condolences to the family may be left at www.askew-houser.com
