Obituary of John P. Stanton

STANTON – John P., 56, of Nanty Glo, went to Heaven on Dec. 11, 2024. Born Nov. 25, 1968 in Johnstown, son of the late Herbert and Irene (Kankula) Stanton. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by grandparents; brother, Herbert, Jr.; and sister, Barbara Stanton. Survived by sister, Sue (Chuck) Keilman; brothers, Edward (Barbara) Stanton; and Joseph (Paula) Stanton; and loving nieces and nephews. John was employed by CAB, Ebensburg with 34 years of service. He loved fishing, bowling and playing bingo. Friends will be received from 6 p.m. until time of funeral service at 7 p.m. on Friday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, The Revs. Carl Phillips and Russ Havener, officiating.
