BOLTON - David Lee, 79, of East Taylor Twp., passed away Dec. 29, 2024 at home. Born Feb. 4, 1945 in Johnstown, son of the late Frank and Pearl (Brant) Bolton. Preceded in death by sister, Gwendolyn Ritchey; and brother, Thomas Bolton. Survived by wife, Barb, to whom he was married for 53 years; and children, Jarrett Bolton; Elizabeth (James) Penna; and David (Heather) Bolton. Grandchildren, Anthony (Samantha) Penna; Samuel Penna; Joseph Penna; Sydney Bolton and Logan Bolton. Also survived by brothers, James; Gerald (Janice); Robert (Julia); and Ronald (Glenda); and beloved nieces and nephews. Member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mundys Corner. Retired millwright-open hearth with Bethlehem Steel. US Air Force veteran and National Guard. Vice President USSWA; and also had served on Board of Directors, Franklin Johnstown FCU. Dave loved fishing and high school sports, especially watching his grandsons play.  Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo and from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. on Friday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Vicar Jen Bobolsky-Sherbine, officiating. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Windber Hospice in Dave’s memory.
