Charles Gordon Edmiston Obituary

EDMISTON – Charles Gordon “Chuck”, 60 of Colver, passed away peacefully January 25, 2025,  surrounded by his loving family.  Born September 13, 1964 in Mountain View, California, son of Thomas L. Edmiston and Ruth (Kim) Edmiston-Carney.  Preceded in death by father, brothers T. L and Edward J Edmiston, niece Cindy Lou Donaldson and nephew and best freind Davey Edmiston, Jr.  Survived by his mother Ruth, whom visited daily, ending her visit with each of them reciting the 23rd Psalm; his wife of 38 years, the former Janet Ando Edmiston and children:  Charles G. (Kimmy) Edmiston, Colver;  Allison (Randy) Boyd, Blairsville; and Thomas (Diane) Edmiston, of Colver and 12 grandchildren.  Also survived by brothers David (Karen) Edmiston; William (Lydia) Edmiston and Nancy (Lee) Bugala; all of Ebensburg. 


 


Chuck was the third-generation owner operator of the family business Edmiston Tower. He also partnered with his family at SWR, Ebensburg Industrial Park.  Chuck was a joyous man, always seeing the good in everyone and compassionate to anyone in need.  In his spare time he enjoyed riding his 4-wheeler, camping with family and golfing.   “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”   (Corinthians 13:13)


 


Friends will be received from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday January 31st at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m., Saturday February 1st at the Ebensburg Methodist Church, Dawn Davis, CL,  officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Chuck’s memory may be made to the Ebensburg Methodist Church.  Condolences to the family may be left at www.askew-houser.com
