BARATE - Arthur "Piney", 80, of Vintondale, passed away March 12, 2007 at home. Born September 26, 1926 in Vintondale, son of the late Ignatz and Esther (Demjen) Barate. Preceeded in death by three brothers and five sisters. Survived by wife, Shirley (Risko) Barate and son, Warner and wife Debra, of Seward. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 7-9 pm on Wednesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held 11:00am Thursday, Elder Harold Swanson, officiating.
