PEACH - Eugene "Lefty", 78, Nanty Glo, passed away Sept. 25, 2007, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Jan. 12, 1929, in Twin Rocks, son of the late Robert and Stella (Gore) Peach. Preceded in death by son, Kallen "Kelly" Peach; sisters, Delores, Helen Ropchock, Lavon Edwards and Jeanette Anderson; and brothers, Robert and Elmer Peach. Survived by children, Dennis (Geraldine), New Jersey; Susan (Bruce) Conzo, Twin Rocks; Charles (Cynthia), Blairsville; and Martha (William) Kramer, Utah; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles, Nanty Glo, and Raymond, Alverda; sisters, Evelyn Minarchick and Mary Ann Peach, both of Nanty Glo; and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Nanty Glo. Member of UMWA. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Nanty Glo, where vigil prayer service will be held. Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Church, the Rev. David S. Peles, celebrant. Committal, St. Marys Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lefty's memory may be made to his church.
