BOTTEICHER - Lorraine K. (Walk), 88, of Nanty Glo, passed away April 12, 2007 at home. Born June 9, 1918 in DuBois, daughter of the late Daniel and Mary (Flick) Walk. Preceded in death by husband William "Bill" Botteicher, brothers Donald, Jerome, Samuel and LaMar Walk. Survived by daughter, Carol Jean Botteicher, of Nanty Glo; twin brothers Meredith (Joan) Walk, Michigan and Melvin (Victoria) Walk, Florida, and sister-in-law Evelyn Walk of Ohio. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Lifelong member of Nanty Glo Christian & Missionary Alliance Church. Lorraine enjoyed reading, crafts, and spending time with her family and friends. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 7-9 pm Sunday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held 1:00pm Monday, the Rev. Carl A. Schmidt, Sr., officiating. Interment Pike Brethren Cemetery, Mundys Corner. In lieu of flowers donations in Lorraine's memory may be made to her church.
