MALLOY - William P. "Pinky", 76, of Vintondale ,died December 31, 2004 at home. Born December 5, 1928 in Etna, son of the late John and Mary (Frantz) Malloy. Preceded in death by brothers: Ed Cummings and Harry Malloy, Sr., sister, Mary Malloy, niece: Sharon Boothby and nephew John Malloy. Survived by brother John J. Malloy, Jr., of Vintondale; sister: Gertrude Gibson, of Weaubleau, Missouri, and numerous loving nieces and nephews. Retired from Dietrich Industries in Blairsville, he was a member of Vintondale Post 5211 V.F.W. and a Korean War veteran. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 7-9pm Wednesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc, Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m.,Thursday, Rev. Reginald Bell, Pastor Emeritus, Nanty Glo First Baptist Church, officiating. Private interment at Union Cemetery in Troutville. Military Rite by local veterans organizations. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pinky's memory may be made to his family or the charity of your choice.
