LASH - Erma (Cassol), 81, of Vintondale, passed away Nov. 10, 2006, at home. Born Sept. 1, 1925, daughter of late Felice and Josephine (Giazzon) Cassol. Preceded in death by husband, John. J. Lash and brother, Bruno Cassol. Survived by children Thomas, and wife, Deb, Colver; Edward, and wife, Lena, (Capelli); Theresa, and husband, John Gresko, both of Vintondale; and Johanna, and husband, John Huey Jr., Florida; eight grandchildren; brother, Primo Cassol, California, and special niece, Brenda Cassol-Turous, Vintondale. Member of SS. Timothy & Mark Catholic Chapel, Vintondale, and Vintondale VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Erma enjoyed reading, crocheting, playing bingo and going out for Sunday dinners with her family. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Nanty Glo, where vigil prayer service will be held that evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at SS. Timothy & Mark Chapel, Vintondale, the Rev. James H. Conrad S.T.L., celebrant. Committal, St. Charles Cemetery, Twin Rocks.
