RANKIN – Thomas Richard, Sr., 61, of Blacklick Twp. died Jan. 7, 2011 at Memorial Medical Center. Born May 11, 1949 in Indiana, Pa, son of the late Blair and Evelyn (Adams) Rankin. Preceded in death by son, Jim and sister, Denise Flowers. Survived by wife of 22 years, Rosemarie (Burke) Rankin; twelve children, eighteen grandchildren, three brothers, two sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10:00am until time of memorial service at 11am on Tuesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, the Rev. Nelson Ilgenfritz, officiating. In lieu of flowers donations in Tom’s memory may be made to The American Cancer Society.
