OCHENRIDER – Donald E, Sr., 76, of Vinco, went to be with his Lord, Jan. 15, 2011 at Select Specialty Care, Johnstown. Born January 21, 1934 in Conemaugh, son of the late William and Elizabeth (Barr) Ochenrider. Preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters. Survived by wife, the former Della Sell, to whom he was married 46 years, and these children: Donald E., Jr. (Margaret) Ochenrider; Ronald L. (Denise) Ochenrider, and Amber R. (Brent) Buynack, all of Vinco; grandchildren: Megan & Donald III, and Justin Ochenrider and Grant & Jacob Buynack. Also survived by sister, Dorie Watroba, Jackson Twp. Retired in 1983 from Gautier Division of Bethlehem Steel. He enjoyed fishing and sports, especially baseball, and coached East Taylor-Jackson Twp. Little League for many years. He also was an Army veteran. Friends will be received from 2-8 p.m., Tuesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo., where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, the Pastor Drew Walther, officiating. Interment at Benshoff Hill Cemetery, Middle Taylor Twp. In lieu of flowers, donations in Don’s memory may be made to the Jackson Twp. Vol. Fire Company.
