MULATO – Jennie M. (Bellavia), 81 of Nanty Glo, went to be with the Lord Dec. 1, 2010, at home. Born Dec. 22, 1928 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Luigi and Teresa (Lanardo) Bellavia. Preceded in death by husband, Joseph A. Mulato and grandchildren, Jennifer Ann and Robert Andrew Mulato. Survived by children, Joseph (Sharon Kerrigan), Newport, NJ.;Teresa, Nanty Glo; Louis (Cindy L. Hess), York; and Andrew (Judy Donaldson), Nanty Glo. Grandchildren, Joseph, Gregory, Raymond, Desiree and Monica. Great Grandchildren, Madison, Alexis, Raymond, Caidence and Victoria. Also survived by her sisters, Ida Ardire and Josephine Debnar, both of Ebensburg. Retired borough secretary in Nanty Glo with 24 years of service. Jennie loved spending time with her family, especially cooking Sunday dinners and holiday meals, as well as her weekly lunches with her sisters. She was very devoted to the Blessed Mother and was actively involved in the Legion of Mary at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Nanty Glo and would faithfully say her rosary every day. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 pm on Sunday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where vigil prayer service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10am on Monday at St. Mary’s Church, the Rev. Martin A. Cingle, celebrant. Committal to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Jennie’s memory may be made to her church.
