Grove - Joseph S. "Junior", 78, of Ben Franklin Highway, Ebensburg, died peacefully at home on July 1, 2006. Born January 23, 1928 in Wherum, son of the late Joseph C. and Rosella (Peters) Grove. Preceded in death by brothers Winfred "Wink", Herb, and Daniel, and sisters Mildred Simanic and Barbara Keilman. Survived by children: Dawn Younkin, Atlanta, Georgia; Barry Grove, Denver, Colorado; David, married to the former Julie Bowen; Jeffrey A., and Cheryl, wife of John Natcher, all of Ebensburg; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Also survived by special friend and caretaker, Edie Miller; sister, Carol, wife of Robert Keilman, brother-in-law Jack Keilman, and sister-in-laws Betty (Ober) Grove and Connie (Keilman) Grove, all of Ebensburg.
Junior was a self-employed mechanic, he enjoyed computers and cameras, tinkering and managing his business. Member of Mount Olive United Methodist Church.
Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. until time of service at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, Pastor Ruth Ann Moore, officiating. Interment at Bethel Cemetery.
