BARTHOLD - Gloria Jean (Bracken), 56, Strasburg, formerly of Nanty Glo, died July 27, 2005, at home. Born March 25, 1949, in Johnstown, daughter of George L. and Catherine Bracken. Preceded in death by father. Survived by mother of Twin Rocks; children, Shirlyn, and husband, David Andres, of Michigan; Burnley, and wife, Jessica, of Coatesville, Pa.; Bernice, and husband, Carl Hall, Kinzer, Pa.; Melissa Canfield, at home; and Crystal, and husband, Nathan Myers, of Lancaster; and 12 grandchildren. Sister of Sandra Bonser, Texas; Ronald Bracken, Michigan; and Janet Frost, Manheim, Pa.; and special friend of 15 years, Don Collier. Friends will be received from 10:30 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. on Friday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Nanty Glo, the Rev. Clayton Harriger officiating. Interment, U.B. Cemetery, Belsano. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gloria's memory may be made to her family.
