HRIBAR - Edith D. (Mort), 73, of Johnstown, went to be with the Lord Jan. 28, 2006, at Memorial Medical Center, Main Campus. Born Aug. 18, 1932, in Twin Rocks, daughter of the late Fred and Anna (Pasko) Mort. Preceded in death by first husband, Albert Kubat Jr.; second husband, Louis Hribar; infant sister, Florence; brothers, Fred and Steve; and sister, Ruth. Survived by children, Donna, married to John Galer, of Harrisburg; Ronna, married to Don Davis, of Ebensburg; Stephen Kubat, married to the former Diane Mottin, of Mundys Corner; and Deborah (Kubat), married to William R. Mardis Sr., of Vintondale; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Sister of Evelyn Mucha of Nanty Glo; Edward, married to the former Maryann Cavanaugh, of Delaware; Eugene, married to the former Margaret Asselin, of Massachusetts; and Donna, married to Robert Stephens, of Nanty Glo. At Edith's request, there will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held at noon Tuesday at the Nanty Glo Church of the Brethren, the Rev. James Decker and the Rev. Marvin E. Lowery officiating. Interment, Benshoff Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Nanty Glo.
