SMITH - Beatrice I. "Bea" (Gore), 84, of Rebekah Manor, Ebensburg, went to be with the Lord, April 25, 2005 at the manor. Born August 30, 1920 in Nanty Glo, daughter of the late Joseph and Mae (Harvey) Gore. Preceded in death by husband, Elmer A. Smith; sisters: Agatha Simmons and Geraldine Phillip; and brother, Daniel Gore. Survived by brother, Dr. Ronald, and wife Grace (Huff) Gore, Florida; sister, Doris, and husband John Behory, of Nanty Glo; brother, Russell, and wife Donna (Sebulsky) Gore, of Mundys Corner; longtime friend, Nora Ciotti, of Nanty Glo, and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of the Nanty Glo Christian & Missionary Alliance Church. Retired engineer for Verizon, formerly the Bell Atlantic Telephone Company. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, Wednesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday at the Nanty Glo Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, the Rev. Carl A. Schmidt, officiating. Interment at Pike Brethren Cemetery, Mundsy Corner. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bea's memory may be made to her church.
