GILLIN - Larry C., 85, of Nanty Glo and Mundys Corner, passed away July 7, 2007 at Good Samaritan Nursing Care Center. Born August 18, 1921 in Indiana, Pa., son of the late Grover Cleavland and Anna (Duncan) Gillin. Preceded in death by brothers, Emerson and Jay; and sisters, Annabell Gongloff and Olene James. Survived by several nieces and nephews; friend, Sally Teeter; very special niece, Donna Mallin, and husband Mark; and special buddy, Ken Jenkins. Larry enjoyed going to Johnstown blind activities with his friend, Bill Dreikron. Member of Ebensburg Evangelical Bible Church (Revloc). Friends will be received from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Marvin E. Lowery officiating. Interment, Pike Brethren Cemetery, Mundys Corner. In lieu of flowers, donations in Larry's memory may be made to his church.
