SWARTZ – Rayna Ann, 24, of Nanty Glo, died Aug. 6, 2017 as a result of a motorcycle accident. Born Aug. 12, 1992 in Johnstown. Preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Annie and Jack Mardis; paternal grandparents, Wilda and Ray Swartz; uncle, Jack Mardis; aunt, Janice Deetscreek; and step sister, Melissa Swartz. Survived by parents, Debi and Larry Swartz; children, Arianna Grace and Link Grayson; sister, Sonya (Randall) Schrenkel; niece, Kerstyn Day; nephew, Kyle Day; special friend, Brendan Shue; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Pastor Linda Beachley, officiating. Interment, Pineland Cemetery, Strongstown. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rayna’s memory may be made to Nanty Glo Church of the Brethren.
